WoW: Essentail Professions Dailies:WoW: Why Professions Need Daily Quests by Randy Rowe
Some professions actually require you to Daily quests. Jewel crafting, cooking, and fishing, requires you to complete daily quests, as you'll gain some important benefits.
Daily Quests for Cooking
If you want to learn certain recipes, then you have to complete daily quests. One of the best recipe to create is of course, the fish feast, which increases attack and magic power, which is great for anyone. There are daily quests for cooking in both Shattrath and Dalaran. By doing the Shattrath dailies you can get the Barrel of Fish or Crate of Meat as an award. On the other hand the Dalaran dailies gives 1-3 Dalaran cooking awareds. If you're wondering what the awards are for, they're used to purchase exclusive recipes. If you get a spice bag you'll have a chance to get a rare recipe.
Daily Quests for Fishing
The fishing profession is paired best with cooking because you can get many of the materials you need for the recipes by fishing. You can get these daily quests from the fishing trainer in Dalaran, located near the fountain in the Eventide area. Therer are 5 variety of fishing quests so make sure you know what you have to do. The reward for completing daily quests for fishing is a Bag of Fishing Treasures, which can drop everything from trash to epic gems. Just make sure you remember to sell your trash from this bag because some of those junk items are worth a decent amount of gold. Doing some fishing daily quests is a great way to earn some gold, and possibly help you strike riches by finding epic gems.
Daily Quests for Jewel Crafting
You can get jewel crafting dailies from Timothy Jones, in Dalaran. There are a total of 6 jewel quests that you get to do everyday, just like fishing, it'll change. When you finsih the quests you'll get tokens which you can use to redeem some jewel designs.
Reputation is another reason why you should do daily quests for jewel crafting. There are several factions throughout the game that offer epic and rare gem designs. Getting reputation is the only for you to get access to these designs. By doing daily quests you'll be able to get experiance jewel crafting to be able to get the rare designs. If you want another way to earn reputation for a clan, then you should buy a tabard from them. Just by wearing the tabard while in dungeons, you'll get reputation for every kill you do. You have to be friendly with the faction first before you can get a tabard from them.
